Historically, crowns and bridges have been constructed with a metal substrate for structural support, coated with a layer of ceramic for a natural appearance. The metal base has typically been composed of nickel and chromium—materials known for their strength and durability. However, for some patients, these metals can pose a risk of allergic reactions or other sensitivities.
Because many of our patients have experienced immune challenges, we made the decision from the very beginning to be a completely metal-free practice.
Advancements in dental materials have allowed us to replace traditional metal-based restorations with high-strength ceramics, such as Zirconia. These modern ceramics offer the ideal combination of durability, aesthetics, and biocompatibility, reducing the risk of immune-related concerns while providing exceptional function and appearance.
In addition to using metal-free materials, we utilize state-of-the-art digital scanning technology to ensure a precise fit for every patient. This eliminates the need for traditional goopy impression materials, making the process more comfortable, accurate, and efficient.
By prioritizing patient health and utilizing the latest advancements in dental technology, we are committed to providing high-quality, biocompatible restorations that support both oral and overall well-being.
